Workshop Overview

About This Masterclass

Discover the tactile joy of molding raw, mineral-rich terracotta clay. Under expert mentorship, explore pinch pot formation, coil building, and authentic terracotta relief carvings inspired by historic Bishnupur temple art. You will create two functional glazed tea cups and an ornamental clay plaque ready for kiln firing.
Hands-on Toolkit

Materials & Equipment Included

All tools and raw materials are fully provided in the studio. You will take home your finished handcrafted piece.

Refined natural Bengal terracotta clay (3 kg per participant)
Wooden sculpting tools, trimming loops, and sponges
Studio apron and protective towels
Kiln bisquing and finish firing included (pickup after 7 days)

Prerequisites & What to Bring

Beginners welcome; no prior pottery experience required
Short fingernails recommended for ease of clay manipulation
